    Sorry to hear that @Dee73.

Moved the very last bit of topsoil. Mulched the raspberries ( they are coming up a treat) Emptied three tubs of used compost around the garden. Checked the greenhouse, the over wintering fuchsia and clematis are doing better after a really cold spell which won't finish for another week. Then off to GC for a greenhouse thermometer,  while there picked up two bags of on offer bird feed. Then took hubby for lunch as thankyou for all his hard work on the veg beds.

Sorry you're feeling under the weather Dee.  I've been catching up after being away for a few days.  Potted up lots of treasures bought on my travels.  Going to creating a little table full of pots so that I can see them from the kitchen window.  Lawns mowed and edged and I sanded/painted the table ready for the pots.  Hubby had looked after all the seedlings admirably while I was away, so all I had to do was top up the water trays. On nanna duty tomorrow so no gardening for me.
Hi from Kingswinford in the West Midlands
  • I planted my new David Austin rambling Rosie today, as it arrived in the post this morning.  Well wrapped but I am a little concerned for it.  We also tried to find the hole in our stream liner - like looking for a needle in a haystack.

Don't know if this would help @Guernsey Donkey2 but have you tried putting some food dye into the water to see where it flows and possibly find the hole that way. It may colour the water for a bit but wouldn't hurt any plants/wildlife , but might help to find the problem. 🙂

    Nice job @purplerallim:)
Pricked out 70 marigold plug plants, also potted on 2 clematis and 2 fuschias. Checked over and watered everything in the coldframes. Still have clematis to feed and Michaelmas daisies to plant, but lunch first!
