I potted on 3 scabious grown from seed and resowed a dozen sweetcorn as my 1st batch hasn't germinated. Have used a different variety of fresher seeds. I have several empty pots as I tried using up old seeds, should have known better.
Finished the pond, starting planting around it (not all the plants are ready to be planted out/I haven’t bought them all yet!) and mulched as I don’t want to leave any of the ground bare. Had 2 bags of composted manure left and it was the perfect amount for the area I needed to mulch!
Sowed beetroot, spinach, salad leaves, lettuce, radish and carrots. Weeded the borders and potted up quite a few begonia plugs. Quite a productive day.

Looks so good. Yay!
I’m starting mine in two weeks. Need to wait until the new staircase is done and then I’m off out with my mattock!

Are you pleased?
Thank you! I can’t wait to see yours take shape!!
I am very pleased, spent a lot of time staring at it like “I made that!!” Feeling very proud!
Planted two Vitis coignetiae which will hopefully grow to hide an ugly garage wall. Also planted out some heleniums, agastache and more foxgloves, which freed up my cold frame so I could move all my potted agapanthus out of the greenhouse and make some room. Then I sowed the zinnias and nigella from GW magazine.
I gave all my beds a properly good soaking this evening, since I have a lot of young plants and it hasn't rained for a while and there's none in the 10-day forecast.
Started constructing my pond. May alter the shape a little when I come to dig it out.
Watered the new bed and the front garden as we’ve not had rain in a while and none is forecast til next weekend (lots of new plants to keep happy and a tree!).
Did some weeding; fed my potted plants; cut and fed the lawn.
