@Suesyn this is the first year I have grown them in the tunnel so I hope they wont, no one has had any trouble with the badgers trying to get into any tunnels on the allotments as far as I know. But have had no end of problems out side peas and corn seem to be their favourites and they will do anything to get at them.
Today at the allotment cut all the grass paths and parking areas raked and added to compost, sowed carrots, lettuce, beetroot, and runner beans. The extra cloche panels arrived so built them and filled more bottles with sand to secure them down.

After volunteer day yesterday took it a bit easy today. Did go to the plots but the areas where I grew the green manure is like glue, still waiting for it to dry out enough to start sowing or planting.
Managed to get in the garden today. Nanna duty finished till next Wednesday and the weather has picked up. Sown last of the seeds for this spring, Cosmos white and pink, Nicotiana White and Lime Green Brachyscome Bravo and Night scented Stocks.
Potted on Flowering carrots and pink & white Petunias. Mowed lawns and early this morning (before the bees were out and about) sprayed roses for blackspot. Recovering now with a cuppa, might go out again later if I have another spurt of energy.
Reading your post Yviestevie - well done for getting all your seed sowing completed. I am nowhere near finishing mine - I am well behind.
I thinned out the umbrella plant beside the pond - still more to do. We moved some dahlia pots and and nipped off the top of a couple of fleshly dahlia tips.
I haven't even started seed sowing yet ! Next week definitely (fingers crossed). Checked over box cuttings, most seem to have taken, so tided them up. Divided snowdrops and replanted in various locations. OH emptied out big pots for me, they were full of ants. I have asked him if he can come up with an "insert" that l can drop in the top of them, so that l can replant easily. Hostas that l split from one that MIL was getting rid of all seem to have survived - l love seeing their little noses poking through ! Planted clematis "Nubia" in a pot. Also have dahlias and begonias l need to start off. Something tells me that l will be in the greenhouse next week !
Sowed a row of leeks, planted fritillary bulbs up by the pond, re-sited a silver birch (changed my mind about position!), mowed the lawn, cut back some penstemon and popped some cuttings into water, repotted a fatsia, rescued another toad from a bucket of rainwater and now I’m going to sit down with a cup of tea and plan a new border around the silver birch I moved! Think I need some cake.....😬
Definitely cake required @Flinster ! I reckon you deserve it. Besides, it will make me feel less guilty about the chocolate biscuit l have just had with my cup of tea Just realised l still have two trugs full of pots that need washing, think that can wait until tomorrow .
