Hello @Janie B, @AnniD and GWRS, sorry for delay in replying, our internet's been down all day, just been sorted.
Yes, my Bosch 'mouse' is the Iseo. I do like it and it's much quicker than topiary shears. However I have very small hands with arthritis in my fingers and am beginning to find it tiring to use more than 1/2 hr at a time (you have to keep two buttons depressed, one each side of the handle, my hand only just reaches). It would be fine for men and most women though.
It doesn't give such a fine cut as shears as the scissor-like movement 'tears' the leaves and this sometimes results in browning of the cut edges which can look unsightly for a bit. Comes with two attachments and a very nice strong zipped container to keep it in.

Recommended  ( with caveats as outlined).

My dwarf self did more mining.
Neighbours replaced their older fence panels and it looks really smart.
Looked down the corridor that runs behind the gardens and saw the JKW waving at me half way across the back of my neighbours garden. I’m hoping that the copious concrete at the back of my garden might keep it from infesting it. Network rail have yet to start a programme of eradication and they’ve known about it for ages.
Just my luck I’ll probably accidentally break up some rhizomes When I’m digging and spread them around the garden.

I can see squash seedlings poking through!!! First time trying to grow things from seed (apart from the wildflower seeds I scattered in the front garden). I really thought nothing would come up. Nothing from the tomato pots though....
    So happy 😁!

No!  I tripped over a sixpence yesterday!   Consequently, today is a painful knee and aches all over!  How maddening!
A good hoeing is worth two waterings.

Never happened to me, but have noticed some rushed packaging and a drop in quality from even big name suppliers, no doubt response to the higher demand this year. It might be that quality control is not what it should be at the moment.

As the weekend is supposed to be warmer, though not as sunny today, I have been in the greenhouse turfing out the overwintered tubs of bedding plants.  This has made room for the tomatoes to go in, they did need it as they were getting tall. Most went in ok, but one as I was coming through the door was hit by the curtain,  snapped off an inch from the soil! 🤬
0n happier notes hubby has two posts in of three for the white roses to climb, which may go in tomorrow.

I've been planting out the annuals and weeding.  Still got lots more to plant suspect I will be giving some away as I had a really good germination rate this year.  Will be out watering as soon as the sun goes down.

I spent most of the afternoon planting up my two new half barrels (a treat for being in lockdown) they took a bag of compost each. Now got large begonias in them brought on from tiny plugs. I also planted out most of my Cosmos as the temps are supposed to be ok now, fingers crossed! All watered in,the ground was hard as rock and so dry,I think there must be a fair bit of clay.Only hoed it last week.
    A very satisfying afternoon.
