Fingers crossed @Ilona.S that they pick your clip! It looks very interesting from the photo.

Sun is out, light breeze, good day to hoe. So hoed. Tidied up make-shift compost bin which is collapsing a bit. It's just a temporary one from pallets but looks better now.

Rotavated over new strawberry bed, spread 3 bags of horse muck on top, hopefully will have dried out a bit for another go over it later today.

Along with taking plants outside, that filled up this morning quite well.

OOh, I forgot to say earthed up first early spuds as well.

Trimmed one of the fence lines greenery, just 6inches off the top ( have to give the sparrows their sunbathing spot😆)
Planted french beans outside, and used a two litre bottle to plant some inside as cover incase of losses ( bit like the guttering used in beechgrove)
    And watering, lots of watering.😃

Weeded some of the front garden beds, including pruning back two heathers (a job I usually forget). New scarifier has just arrived so that's OH sorted for a few days.

I've never thought to scarify the OH, will it rejuvenate him?

Mostly pottered today. Mowed the lawn, watered the veg, pricked out some basil and manured a bed. Sat and watched a damselfly drying its wings after emerging from the pond. Beautiful! A large red I think. (The damselfly not my wine!) 😉

    Restrained 2 gates today
Currently tea break in sun , another lovely day
Had to fill up with petrol ⛽️ , local garage was cheaper than supermarkets, 97.9 pence per litre , can’t remember when it was that cheap

Finished building 2 new pergolas and a swing seat, mind no swinging going on here due to lack of chain.
Tidied up bottom leaves around the teasles. Dead headed tulip, dafs, centaurea Montana, primulas and rose. Got sun burnt today should that happen in may
