I planted out the last of the squash seedlings, giving them plenty of space to sprawl and spread. They were pot bound so needed to be moved on.

More of the same things I did yesterday:
Breaking up more of the concrete path, dyeing the resultant rubble, sealing it and then putting it into my gabion planter. Liner has all been sewn in. Finished listening to Interesting Times which is very good. Terry Pratchett is perfect for gardening.
Briefly thought about investigating my grass to see if I have any couch grass after reading a forum post but decided ignorance is bliss.
Sowed some tomatoes, squash and mint. Everything is crossed as I don’t have multipurpose compost and I could not sieve the soil I did have because it was wet.
Now onto hoovering everything I can lay my hands on.

Did another two hours weeding and cutting back in the school garden, dug up some tiny heucheras that were getting swamped and a variegated hebe. Pulled up lots of verbena bon. which I'll try to give away free to passers-by tomorrow. Now on the wine and waiting for lamb to finish cooking - famished!

My Dad had a wonderful boot scraper, my mother never had to clean up mud/ground in the house. Great initiative @GWRS
I planted out more radish seedlings and trimmed old growth on some periwinkle plants
