Rain stopped, cut back hardy fuchsias and winter cuttings, gave baskets and containers a feed, dead headed winter pansies and the first show of container tulips which are now a bit over and didn't like the wind much yesterday. Going to see if the grass is dry enough to mow.

We have had steady, much needed rain here for pretty much the last 24 hours.
Pricked out the cosmos seedlings in the greenhouse,  too wet to do anything else.
    Definitely not complaining though  :)

Rain stopped after lunch so OH rushed out and planted the 2nd early potatoes. I've been busy making a cake and trying to make bread. Cake's ok, not sure about the bread yet.

Back in the garden this afternoon, cut the grass and mowed up my soaked cardboard tomorrow's job to mix it all into the compost.

Planted out lupins, hollyhocks, aqueligia, eryngiums, rudbeckia and some hydrangea. Today was definitely moving day in our garden about 300 plants gone in and a list of plants to move around.

Watered my twelve new beech - I’ve definitely underestimated the upkeep on these.  Filling 12 watering cans to ensure accurate and even watering was pretty slow going, even if it’s only once per week.

My tulips have caught something nasty, must’ve been the moss killer I put in the lawn a few weeks ago.
