Tidy Gardener , I’ve Montana at the allotment that covers a water cube I give it a real good prune each year and it comes back as rigorous as ever , therefore , why not give it go

I have a huge clematis montana all over it .debating whether or not to get rid of it!in a good year it looks fantastic but last year it barely flowered and looks like twigs a lot of the year!
My neighbours clematis hangs over our fence, once it’s all sticks whether I shear it off or they do it’ll be back a few months later! 😅

Not really, unless buying plants at a GC counts. Got to find a place for a new paeony now!

    Cut back bronze carex

    Pulled out winter cherries

Repotted more rudbeckia as an anti slug measure

    Planted out sage

    Pruned dogwoods

    Planted dogwood cuttings

Pinged off a baby snail and baby slug

And I think my Robin is back and has decided to nest in my cherry laurel, right by the house in the patio!

When I got in from work, I did a little bit in the garden for around 45 minutes until it started getting dark.  I do love the nights when they start getting lighter.

I had a tidy round and repotted a plant that I rescued off the nearly dead shelf this morning.  Hopefully I have rescued it in time.

Was going to allotment this afternoon but a major accident blocked the road , so went back home and did lots of bits in the garden

Stuck at home with a poorly boy so managed to get all the grass cut, it was lovely weather for it. Mowed up all remaining perennial trimmings and all my soaked cardboard, all into the compost filling an entire bin hopefully there'll be some good cooking soon

Well I’ve bought compost today. I wanted to get my seed trays up and running but run out of time today.

My garden and I live in South Wales.

    What a day !!
    Finished mulching a large bed
Built a cold frame and filled it full of plants
Potted on fennel, geraniums, phlox and some surprise plants (labels lacking again)
Planted out 20 pulminaria and 12 hellebores.

It's great to be able to get out in some dry weather even had my youngest boy helping prune the dogwoods (took the end of my thumb off with the secauters, but hey life isn't perfect)

No gardening but impulse buying a lovely orange patio rose and a string of pearls succulent,  always wanted them.
