After 10 months, I have finally retrieved all my plants from various friends and neighbours after moving house last year.
Now all I need to do is find somewhere to put them :/
    Don’t forget the Nerines 😉😀

@B3. What sort of elderberry, mine don’t have thorns?

Neither do mine! I don't think any have thorns, do they?
It self seeded exactly where I wanted a small tree so I left it there. I keep it a reasonably tidy shape and dont let it get over about 10ft. I know they're short lived, but it's fine for now.

OH took this last night just as the sun was going down but just glinting on the flowers. It truly is this colour.

Had an operation on my toe last week and today had the big bandage removed.  Means I can get shoes back on and get back on the garden.  Didn't much fancy digging, or using a petrol mower, when wearing sandals and the toe basically unprotected!

Spotted a stranger outside on the gravel drive.   Crept closer for a better look and it's a goldfinch!!

Never had a goldfinch before in 36 years of gardening, not in Harrow or Belgum or here until today.

Went to close one of our shutters against the sun and found about twenty five Pipistrelle bats roosting behind it. Have left them to it for the day     :)
