Not at all @raisingirl ;) , but just to get back on track , l intend to buy a couple of large jars of coffee, a couple of very large boxes of Yorkshire tea, and a mega load of custard creams to see me through.

Where does the flour for the biscuits come from? and the other ingredients?  All best of British?

Just wondering.  Don't eat them myself and prefer home made biscuits anyway - except ginger snaps which I use for lemon cheesecake base.  Better learn how to make them I suppose.   Wonder how the British SMs in Belgium are going to manage given their daily van loads of UK goodies and newspapers and magazines...........

Well, they do reckon that people were healthier during the 2nd WW and rationing - limited butter, meats and sugar and more veggies and pulses.

  • But bringing "rationing" on ourselves, thanks to B****t, seems a little unnecessary...

Certainly a novel way to change the nation's diet.
