I’m here Dove. Got home about 3 pm and flopped on the sofa. Slept for 2 hours.😏

Hubby’s results are theprimary in testicles and multiple secondaries elsewhere. He’s to have tablets and injections. Went to our pharmacy for the tablets when we got back, but they have to order them in. He’s also been referred to another specialist for further discussions etc.

Morning all/afties, evening Pat. Is the prognosos good though? Does that mean he won't need surgery/chemo/radiotherapy type of intervention,or do you need to wait until speaking to the specialist?
Lovely day again here too Dove. Frost and sun. Car is well covered with icy, frosty patterns, and mrs Blackie was out eating her apple and waiting for me to bring more goodies :)
chicky - hope you survived well enough being on your own  ;)
I see there's been more moorland fires at Saddleworth. Rather worrying, but the firefighters seem confident it'll all be ok. They were saying there had also been fires near Edinburgh and also Sussex. The Edinburgh one is gorse apparently, and I'm guessing the Sussex one could be woodland. Just shows how dry it's been in many areas.  :o

Morning all ( that came out as ironing all!! I don’t think so!)

@Pat E - hugs from me too. Such a lot to digest for you both and I expect the other specialist will be arranged promptly so you’ll know what is what.

Busy day of jobs today - I’ll check in later.

    Morning all.

I'm back from daughter's. Her OH and 2 children came back from skiing. The baby hasn't arrived yet, though daughter was very uncomfortable on Monday under the ribs and had 2 hours of contractions in the night. Much better yesterday, seemed as though the baby has dropped lower.

On Sunday we went out for lunch to a nice restaurant near Saint Emilion, then we had a wander round Saint Emilion, lots of tourists even in February.

Yesterday we did gardening together, weeding and moving a few plants. She was pleased with the snowdrops, cyclamen and honeysuckle that I gave her.

I hope to get on with gardening here while the weather is still lovely but my arthritic hands are now quite sore. Rain is forecast for the foreseeable from the weekend in SW France, much colder too.

Good morning and G'day.  Hugs Pat.  Hope he gets on some good treatment regime soon.

Sorry you have sore hands BL but hope you can get some gardening done before the weather breaks.   Set to be cooler here but not radically cold and no rain till Monday - so far.

I trust Mr C gets home safely Chicky.  I quite enjoy a few days on my own but not much longer than that.   Apart from anything else I have to get up and make my own first coffee of the day!

More painting for me today.  Joy.  Last lap in the downstairs loo and second undercoat in the ex green room.   First tho, I have to wash the window/door and frame again as there were loads of ladybirds and shield bugs and gendarmes crawling out of there yesterday in the warmth.  Must be some deep holes in the stone behind the roller shutter frame that I can't get to.

Enjoy the sun while you can everyone.
