I would have had daffies open but they have been deluged with large chunks of beech tree :'( I planted up loads in troughs and tubs though so we will have some. We have had large bumble bee queens bumbling about and Brimstone butterflies too. The roe doe was wandering about looking at the devastation last night, hopefully she will return once the work is done. I suspect there are/were foxes in the bank under the beech trees but they will probably move on. Anyone would think it was Spring instead of Winter :)
  • Glad you got out for a change from painting, Fairy.  It'll still be there when it's raining...   ;)  ...shame you needed to be inside doing your spare room, Obelixx.  Hope you get good weather next week to make up for it.

Managed some pruning after "old codgers' band" this afternoon.  There were record-breaking temperatures in west Yorks as well as many other areas, but we only managed 14.  Quite warm enough for me though.   :)
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.
  • Walked through the park this morning... it was just gorgeous.   :)

    Gorgeous tassles Liri 😀

Mr C is on his way home from Barbados .....he’s been out there watching cricket and having adventures without me (not enough leave left to let me go with him 😥).  I had to put my big girl pants on and stay in the house on my own for the first time in 25 years .....he’s been away before, but there have always been chicklets here.  I’ll be very glad to see him 🤗
  • Hope he’s picked up some Mount Gay rum in dutyfree @chicky B)

night night all ... sweet dreams 😴
