Morning Pat. Isn't it always nice to get home?
    Devon.
  • Hello @Pat E :)
    Good morning @Hostafan1 :)
Glad you’re home safe and sound. Fingers crossed for the results. 🤞

its quite foggy here here this morning ... I wasn’t expecting that ...

  • Well that’s surprising ... in just a few minutes the fog has disappeared and the 🌕  is clearly visible ... I’m sitting here in a patch of bright moonlight.

Thanks Dove. We’re almost certain the result will be positive for Prostste Cancer.  Not much use whingeing about it. We’ll just have to face what ever treatment is planned. ☹️. I envision lots of trips to Canberra. 😡

  • @Pat E ((hugs)) Wonky’s Papa Womble is having treatment for that at the moment ... there’s a lot of it about  :/. Very best wishes to you both for a good outcome 👍

Morning all. Very strange colour to the sky this morning - purple to pink and all within a fog.
Pat - I hope hubby’s diagnosis and any treatments will be a straightforward as possible.
Right second cuppa in so time to start the day... have a good day all and make the most of the mild weather if you can.

Morning all/afties,evening Pat. Good that you're home safe. Very wearing for you both. Fingers crossed the treatment happens soon and is successful x

Windy/blustery here and cloudy, but it's looking good in Sheffield for the flypast happening there. Watching it just now. For anyone who doesn't know the story - it's a very emotional and uplifting one which came to light in early January thanks to a chance meeting in the park there between Dan Walker and Tony Foulds, who is the central character in the story. Check out the BBC Breakfast news if you can.

Yes @Fairygirl ... the flypast story is a bit special. So glad it’s happening. Pa was a rear gunner in Lancasters. There but for the grace of god ... etc

There indeed, Dove. That lovely man is inspirational. Another overused word nowadays, but correctly applied in this case.
My Canadian uncle was in the Air Force, met my aunt [dad's sister] when stationed here, and after marrying, went back and lived in Canada the rest of her life. My uncle [mum's brother] who died 18 months ago, was in the RAF.
    Lest we forget.
