Which achillea is  that in your last pic @pitter-patter?
It's lovely. Like that dark rudbeckia too  :)
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
  • @Fairygirl. It’s Cerise Queen, grown from seed this year. I’m really intrigued by the multipetal rudbeckia... I’ve grown it from seeds as well. It was supposed to be Cherry Brandy.

    Thanks @pitter-patter :)
I'd seen that one in a photo, and wondered just how strong a pink it was. Looks good.
    The rudbeckia is really pretty.
Everything in your photos  is looking very healthy. You must be delighted   :)

  • I am delighted... and grateful 🙂. Plants have done well. The Cerise Queen came in various shades from very pale pink to more intense. I even had a white one. But I’ve grown more than enough to keep some and give away.

Ah - of course @pitter-patter - growing from seed means getting some variation. :) It's great though. If you have various spots for having that range of colour to blend in with other plants, it's good way of doing it. I hadn't thought of growing it from seed  :)

Some absolutely gorgeous gardens posted here, with such healthy plants.  Really enjoy looking at all the photos.  We did a 6-week driving tour of Britain in 1980: the hubs went for castles and palaces; I went for garden viewing. :)

Absolutely love that Aster Monch of yours, @wild edges and it goes well with G. Rozanne too!
My Aster novi-belgii 'Marie Ballard' have decided to go from double to single flowers. I already mentioned this phenomenon last autumn in this post: https://forum.gardenersworld.com/discussion/1021187/asters-from-double-to-single-flowers but now it's quite clear that the single flowers are taking over (at the top of the photo).
