The magnolia is about to get going ....which means I will be nervously watching the forecast for frosts for the next few weeks 🤔

But frosts won’t bother this lot

Beautiful photos. @Big Blue Sky Your fritillary is very early. Mine doesn’t show any signs of life. I’m started to be slightly worried.

    Fritilaria michailovskyi

    Narcissus Minnow

    Narcissus Geranium

  • @pitter-patter I’m in Surrey, and with this mild winter we hardly had any frost at all, so I think that’s why they are so early. I’m sure yours will pop out soon too 🤞

Magnolia stellata in full bloom despite this week’s winds and lashing rain.

Me too, @Guernsey Donkey2. I love the contrast and the fact that the white petals are creased.

Wonderful magnolia Picidae - especially with that blue sky as a background 💙

Would love a magnolia but it's one of those things that I haven't found space for yet.  Loving the piccies folks,  Will try and take some more soon between the hail showers

Lovely magnolia, @Picidae. How lucky you are!
