And first flowers on a new Spirea planted only last year,

Acer "Orange Dream" now. It's going to be deep orange in autumn.

  • Goodness your beautiful acer is well advanced Ante30 and then I looked at your location - assuming your temperature is warmer than our is right now.  Is the acer in or outside?

Camelia japonica. Much darker pink this year.

Any Camelia experts able to shed light on this ? It's flowered roughly the same time as most years and was fed using the same acidic feed as in previous years etc. Still a very pretty specimen though

Thanks Guernsey Donkey. Yes it's outside all year round. This winter was extremely mild here. Almost three weeks temperature is around 20 degrees.

Couldn’t decide whether to put this in the garden album or the wildlife album. It was taken through the kitchen window

And and then I remembered the iPad had a zoom function!

Beautiful view through the kitchen window, @Picidae. And the magnolia looks great and quite exotic with the addition of the colourful pheasant.
