Evening all! Just catching up on all your news.
Just had the first ‘all afternoon-er’ in the garden of the year - been painting new fences and making a start on tidying the wilderness part of the garden. There is a stick pile, tree prunings pile, stone pile, 2 compost drums and a small area of uncut grass and wildflowers. It sounds more organised than it is. Plenty of Daffodil bulbs popping up and buds on trees, which is rather pleasing to see.
Hope you all doing ok, particularly anyone with worries or ailments.

Feeling warm and weary now but that's what you get after 45 minutes of samba and 15 of jive.  The woman is merciless.

Well done Pdoc!  What are you going to grow first?

Sounds like a productive afternoon AR.   Still no gardening for me yet but I really do need to go and check all my pots are OK both outside and in the PT.   Maybe the weather will be kind enough for a potter in the soil too this weekend.

That'll be fun in the Easter hols Hosta!

we could never convince Ma that it was possible to move ghe cooker point so that it was sited somewhere safer than
between the door to the conservatory and thd door  to the walk in pantry.
Your Ma may have been right, Dove. Mine decided to swap the cooker with the fridge after 25 years of having no work space by the hob. Then spent the next 10 years putting the milk in the oven.

Just had a read back - glad to hear Karma worked for you pdoc, and well done on the flat packing. Hope it goes smoothly tomorrow - we'll be thinking of you both.

The good thing about winter Dove is that hats cover a multitude of haystack hair days. Hope you don't now have cold ears.

I'm sure the new kitchen will be fabulous BL. Exciting times

Obs, I think 45 minutes of samba would leave me in a puddle on the floor, never mind 15 minutes of jive to round it off. My hat off to you (sorry about the messy hair).

Good work AuntyR. I've been doing the odd hour but not got to a whole afternoon yet. It was too wet here today to attempt it.

    Welcome home Hosta.

Hope it's been cooler today Pat, when you get here later.

Good luck on your last day Fairy. Hello Liri. And sorry to anyone I missed.

    Phew  :)

Our valley is full of smoke this afternoon. There are fires in Gippsland , Tasmania as well in many small areas in NSW.

Your valley is beautiful Pat - even with the smoke.  Hope they get the fires under control soon.
