Pat, I think I could speak for most people and that we wouldn’t be offended in the least.
    Certainly not me, anyway  :)

Lovely view of the lunar eclipse here last night - perfect starry skies. Very misty this morning though. Managed to hoe a couple of my veg beds yesterday - who says there is no such thing as instant gratification in gardening? The satisfaction of a clean, open vegetable patch in Winter is possibly a little 'niche' but it makes me happy.

better get on with some work - hope Blue Monday doesn't get you down. ((hugs)) to pdoc for a difficult week.

Thanks for your help and thought folks knew I could rely on you.  Yes, allotment boy, I do, do deep breathing, trying to get to sleep relax, etc, but my reactions are instant!  We were on holiday once 7th floor, got in the lift with my daughter, some kids opened the door downstairs (found out later, so of course the lift stops) I was on the floor collapsed instantly, fighting for breath, anyway, lets hope the consultant doesnt mention those 3 letters, eh.  Guessing by the posts on this page, its about the Dook, queen and the accident.  My Hubby says the queen isnt required to wear a seatbelt or having a driving licence, dont know where he heard that or if its true, I am sure we must have a traffic officer on this forum? You would have thought after Princess Diana, they would wear seatbelts.  I know a lot of people think you are safe in the back.  When I used to work in the ed may years ago, when it was called casualty, people flew from the rear seats through the windscreen,  I met a lovelly girl in her 20s not wearing a seatbelt who was thrown from the car, then paralised from the neck down, after fracturing her spine. Just before I retired, my friends hubby was in the ed, family came in woman, yes she was wearing a seat belt front seat passenger, in rtc, the 6 month old baby sitting on er lap didnt make it, my friends huby was really upset.
  • Nanny Beach-I should have guessed you had tried it, maybe  music would help you get through an MRI. I always listen to music during post Yoga relaxation so now if I need to relax I only have to listen to the same music to get most of  the relaxation effect. Some years ago I had to have a Biopsy & used the music. The medical team said they had never had a patient so relaxed, it made their job so easy it was over in half the normal time.

Evening all.   Went to bed last night to clear skies and a huge, very bright moon.   Got up for the eclipse and the moon was over to the west but still fairly high and, by 6am, looking teeny and grubby and not at all bloody.   Went back to bed feeling underwhelmed and a bit cold.   One of my patchwork friends was up at 5am in her fleece pyjamas, sat on the pavement outside her house pointing a fancy camera at the moon but didn't get any good shots cos of the light levels so she too was disappointed.

Driving home this evening was much better - huge, fat blood orange moon rising and looking just beautiful.   Turned to more of a grapefruit hue as she rose.   Gorgeous.

Early night for me cos I have to get to a whole day quilting class tomorrow.   Big hugs for anyone (critters too) still with a lurgy, or facing surgery or procedures or rehabilitation.  Pdoc - slow, deep breaths for you too I think.
