Oh - very lucky fidget.... :D
The father of someone I know had to have a heart bypass a few years ago, in his late fifties. He's a former marine, very fit and able, very slim etc etc. His condition is genetic.
Sometimes, it's just the way it is, and you don't fall into a category that can be identified easily  :/
I managed a photo of mousey with his new pals. Not very good as it was through the window, but the only one with all three

Blackie was making a right mess with the bark along each side. Mousey looks very healthy. Must be all that good food  ;)

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

What a cute little mouse 🐭. Maybe he’s trying to eat enough so that his body catches up with his ears 👂🏻 👂🏻

I started work in the cradle Fairy - that’s how the 27 thing works 😉

Just been and swum a km.....weathers too cold and dark for cycling, so need to resort to a pool to keep me fit 🏊‍♀️.  Cream crackered now, so time for snoozing.

Hello all.  I’ve enjoyed reading back. I agree with all you’ve said about health problems.
My daughter was diagnosed with SLE when she was about 19. She is very good at managing her life.

As many of you know my sil was diagnosed with an incredibly rare condition which gd has inherited. Now they are back in London he gets his infusion on the NHS.
They have got a room fitted with fridge and all the equipment at home Nurse comes out every two weeks, it takes three hours and she doesn’t move from his side.
Pretty good I think.  He will not allow daughter in the room so she still doesn’t know how it all works.
Things ain’t great but they hope to see an improvement with regular infusions.  They have been sporadic since leaving Moscow and the private health care plan.
     I feel so helpless

Hi Lilyp. We are expecting 39 or so again, so I’ve changed my mind about going to town for a supermarket walkies.  I might do it tomorrow. (Aldi have new treats on Saturdays). 😀
I’m staying in with my air con.
Sorry to hear about your family’s health probs. It’s always a worry.

Hubby’s hands were cramping last night. Hours of holding high pressure water hoses and chipping away with a rakehoe. 😡

Bless him he’s a real trooper!  We were caught in the euchuca fires that spread right down to Lorne  Boy did I learn a lot that day.  My lasting memory is of the gallas trying to land  on the car .

have a peaceful day Pat I am going to try and get some sleep. Hope you do too!

My genetics and my thyroid conspire to give me raised cholesterol ...

I do so identify with you, Dove.  I've had thyroid problems for years, which makes weight control SO difficult.  I have become from an almost cachectic-looking person, which I hated, to a border-overweight, which I equally loathe.
I know there's much worse out there; yet, the constant need to think before I put anything in my mouth, I find exhausting.
My cousin got it at the age of 16.  And that's really hard!

Horrible memories for you Lilyp. It’s just SO hot today. I haven’t been out to turn the soaker  hoses on. The water would burn the plants. They’ll just have to make do with whatever moisture is left from yesterday’s watering.

Good morning all  :) hope everyone has had a peaceful night and that @Pat E has been able to stay at a comfortable temperature.  :)

i forgot got to put my phone on Silent when we went to bed and we were woken by a message coming through at midnight regarding a project Im advising  on.... folk should go to bed at proper times ... I went straight back to sleep as soon as I’d found my glasses and read the message but it took OH a while to get back to sleep ... thankfully he’s not working until lunchtime so he can have a lie-in.

I shall have to have a word with the person sending the message ... I think she’s stressed about the project but staying up all night texting about it isn’t going to help  :/
