Hello Chicky. Yes we’ve had 39 today. I’m fed up with it. Im in the air conditioned living room now, after a sweltering walk through the supermarkets. I managed a little over 3000 steps, which is better than sitting on the lounge. 🥵 At least it’s bearable.
Like you I’ve stopped watching anything to do with politics. It’s not worth getting upset about.
My pleasure Dove (and OH). That was on a eucalypt that I used to tie a clothes line on to before we got our Hills Hoist. The tree has been removed as a bushfire precaution since then. Too close to the house. 🤭
Beautiful moth and fascinating caterpillar with those colour variations from end to end.
Had a solid 8 hours' sleep last night and feeling slightly more energetic than the last week or so. I've already done half the kitchen floor with the steam cleaner. Just waiting for OH to disappear to golf so I can put back the table and chairs and do the rest.
Grey skies with pale gold patches where they're thinning to reveal growing blue bits but cold so, apart form popping out to check the polytunnel and water those plants, I shall be tucked up indoors checking bedding before a trip to IKEA tomorrow for duvets and pillows and then some sewing.
Don't think I can cope with UK TV or radio today either Chicky so CDs and DVDs for me.
Hope you survive your heatwave OK Pat and that it doesn't last much longer. We are expecting snow next week apparently.

Apparently it’s going to be chilly here today ... I have an afternoon visit to the city ...
