Good morning, there has been a hard frost overnight. No idea what temp is as we have had to move the weather station into study as reception best there.
I felt less dizzy yesterday but did practically nothing! Taking decor down today. I have bulbs of hyacinth ready to come in. They always make the house fresh after festivities
Hosta glad you both safely there, I could do with some heat but not the 41 of Adelaide! hope hubby home Pat
chicky hope you have an easy day. My family are back today too. We get another day up here!

Good morning all pale blue sky and a few fluffy clouds ... about 4C here. Considerably more under this duvet. Hope those of you returning to work can ease yourselves back in very gently ...

Allotment Boy, You certainly know how to enjoy yourself. "Err" you may have had number three, Did a Burglar knock it over getting in the window?
Pat E, This world has shrunk in my lifetime from six weeks by boat down to a few hours by air, we have relatives on holiday in Melbourne as we speak. Christmas and New Year I got messages from the USA, Canada, France and all parts of the UK almost instantly with Pictures on Face Book, to me miraculous. It took me twelve days by Troop ship to get to Port Said Egypt, mind we had a few stops on the way and storm repairs after the Bay of Biscay. It took the blue flimsy Air Mail letters ten days to get home now we flash round the world in seconds. I wonder what my Grandchildren will be doing when they reach my age. They may look at a machine that reads their thoughts transfers them to the other persons brain as they are pressing the button that automatically cleans the whole house in seconds makes your porridge and stirs the marmalade into it for you. The bit worrying me is the world now expects to be coddled from birth to death, they forget how to fight adversity, we had adversity from birth and were taught to fend for ourselves, a message I pass on to my Grandson. The good life will not come to you, get out there and grab it by the throat. Frank.

Oh dear, A Boy, 2019 isn't letting you in lightly! Doesn't that make three already as you started by having to pop back for presents?
Just looking in before bed. Goodnight all.
First time I have seen these numbers on the clock for a few weeks 🙁. Up and at ‘em 💃🏼
We currently have a thunderstorm overhead, so our reception might fail.
I suppose today is a ‘back to normal’ day for most after all the Winter festivities.
Hubby is home from the fire. But is to be back at the fire shed in the morning early.
