That is good news about the dogs and the NT. No NT here but we can take them to the beach most of the year but there are restrictions in major holiday periods.
Good to see you here Pdoc. January blues with knobs on. I hope things improve on all fronts and Moira gets her op.

We went to Dunster Castle a few years ago - didn't know anything about it but were on holiday fairly nearby and decided to have a look - thought it was fabulous.
Afternoon, everyone. My week of ticking errands, chores and tasks off a very long list is going well. The list, however, keeps growing... as fast as I cross something out, I remember another.
Managed a couple of hours in the garden yesterday and another hour or so today, which was good. Not gardening so much as clearing up, but satisfying nonetheless. Also buoyed up by a couple of excellent reviews of Bow's concert .
How does your neighbour's new fence look, AuntyR? Good to hear from you punkdoc. Hope Moira's op goes ahead and you can both start to look forward.

Afternoon all. No work going on next door today - I think yesterday was the garden destruction and the fencing team yet to appear. Haven’t seen neighbour to ask... hope it’s done soon though. Had a day of pottering - tidyed spare room/craft room and nipped to my local town to exchange a book (Crimbo pressie duplicate) and buy something for middle neice’s Birthday. Dinner is prepped (Schnitzel, sweet potato wedges and salad) ready to cook soon. I hope you’ve all had a good day so far.
RG = Me too. As long as they're on leads and owners take poo bags I can't see a problem with dogs visiting gardens.
Glad the reviews are good LG. Good luck with your list.
Pottering for me too AR - cutting pieces for tomorrow's patchwork class and sorting out some fabric. I have loads but can't always find just what I need in the stack. I must be one of these

Started to watch the new Sheridan Smith Programme but found it difficult to follow with my eyes shut. I’ve been sent to bed night night all ... sweet dreams ...
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
I typed a response earlier, but it didn’t post, so I’ll try to repeat what I wrote. PP we are too far south for those pesky toads, so not a problem so far. The jelly fish are obviously on the coast and we’re in the inland mountain region. 😃 Interesting about offering money to kids to kill toads. I thought they were poisonous to handle. 😳
Morning all 😁. Day off today 🥳. Going on a girlie day out with the Chicklets before they head back to Uni at the weekend. There will be coffee and cakes 🍰😜

Forgot to say @Fairygirl - glad it went ok. I had to give 9 months notice when I left my job. The last 3 (post Christmas) were the worst
