    Morning.

Hoping to get the decorations done today and a bit of palaeography. May watch "The Holly and The Ivy" later on. For those that don't know, it's B&W film with Celia Johnson & co being frightfully 50's British & stiff upper lip in the face of adversity & domestic disharmony. Great stuff & compulsory seasonal viewing in this house.

"It's a Wonderful Life" will also be on at some stage over the next 7 days.

Afters all.  Just got back from sm . A pallet full of tins of quality street had fallen over in their warehouse damaging the tins, so they reduced them to  £2. We got there as they were putting them out and bought 3.

F’edge - hope your deco’s are going well (half done here - but I don’t do much). I’ve got that film on DVD because I HAVE to watch it at least once over the festive period (it’s a family law😉😁) Not often on TV these days but you might catch it on the Talking Pictures channel (some good films on there).

MU - What’s that product called please? - I have a few bits of copper I like to shine up at this time of year. They always look nice reflecting fairy lights and the fire but I’m not a great fan of Br*sso.

Pauline - you sharing those Quality Street? Bags first dibs for the green triangles & purple hazel caramels.
