Good to see you SGL - 80% of the way through now🙂 OH must be getting very near the bottom of his reserves now but hopefully he'll start to feel better in a few weeks. Enjoy a restful weekend - you both deserve it.

Hello Runners - still mad I see😉 Hope nobody's electric goes off - that won't be much fun at all in this weather.

MU - bit of a bummer about the film and DVD scenario. But the DVD will be a better quality picture and you won't have ad breaks and you'll be able to enjoy it year after year - I do😊.  I did have a look in the Sky planner to see if the film was being screened this week but Sky only does 7 days at a time. Guess somebody's got a Christmas double-edition Radio Times or similar. Haven't had one of those for years....

Just ordered some copper polish - thank you🙂

Cards done, decs done, food done (except the last minute fresh stuff) just all the presents to buy - still no idea what to get.

SGL - more water under the bridge for your OH.  Hope he will fancy a little of the Christmas food.  Have a good rest this weekend if you can. xx
  • Thank you everyone.
Unfortunately Fedge OH can only manage soup or food I've put in the blender now.  Or custard, jelly, ice cream and mousse. Anything that goes down easily.

I know Christmas is the last thing on your mind SGL but I think there are some rather nice sounding Christmas Pudding flavoured ice cream recipes out there - I could try to find one if you fancy it. Nice for everybody and your OH won't feel excluded.

But maybe he's not fancying much at all at the moment - in which case, just enjoy one another's company this year.

I've eaten so many Christmas meals in the last fortnight I never want to see another one again!

    Nighty night M-U. Sweet dreams.
Ruby - they did say on the forecast that this freezing rain could bring power lines down - as well as tree branches.Lets hope it doesn't!

Lily sending my best wishes to you and your oh.  TVs rather flaky tonight with the weather but there's always a book.  Never seen the Holly and Ivy MU.
