    Hello Runners.
Rain tomorrow.  The walk leader for tomorrows all day walk has decided to cancel it, so we have emailed everyone to let them know as it won't be fun trudging round in lashing rain.
Started delivering local cards and I think I have accidentally posted a card in the wrong letter box.  I had them in my pocket in the correct order of my route and one has vanished.
On my way back I popped into my allotment garden to check what had been done to the apple tree that grows by my plot.  It has been topped by Parish council contractors but they have left huge branches leaning across my plot so I'll have to prune that back myself in better weather.
The parcel that I was expecting yesterday still hasn't arrived, so I hope it is just delayed by the Cmas post and not lost.

Council don’t seem to have done a good job with your apple tree Forest . Is the branch in the way of anything?.  I have had to ring a few times aboutsome parcels recently . They eventually arrived.

Yes heating back on after fuse changed on PCB board inside the boiler and also in switch in boiler cupboard.  Telephoned this am and all sorted after lunch I was amazed how speedy he had been.  It was an older man who sang to himself and was only about 10 minutes.  Then when  he left the pilot light went out.  I managed to sort that out and heating back on, although the cats were enjoying the direct warmth from the heater Rubes had loaned me which I brought back this afternoon.  I've cut out treats but haven't lost any weight so have been walking to try and shift the pounds but am limited to how much I can do.  Pansy sorry to hear your sad news I hope the hospice makes it as comfortable as possible.    Joyce that was an early awakening by the post man it's a good job you heard him.  Runny I hope you will feel warmer soon and keep wrapped up.

    Afties everyone.
Seem to have been busy today getting our life back together after being away. SM this morning plus buying a couple of stocking fillers and ordering heating oil before the price shoots through the roof. Might get the tree out in a minute ready for decorating tomorrow - then I think I'm going to have an easy evening (OH has offered to cook👍)

Pansy - so sorry to hear about your relative. That's been very quick - a shock for all the family I'm sure.

LB - hope you enjoyed your meal and cards.

Joyce - posties at 7.30 - can't imagine that ever happening here!

MU - how many coats have been done now? Glad you had a good time last night.

Rubee & Rebecca - good news your heating has been fixed. It's gonna be a cold one this weekend.

Runners - did you sleep any better last night?

Chey - hope you're feeling a bit better today

Lants - did Tiggs mind the snow earlier this year? She might be getting a little more soon.

F'edge - good decision to cancel tomorrow's walk. It's supposed to be an enjoyable activity - not an endurance test.

Brain is going to mush and I can't remember what else is going on so hello to everyone else.

    Tree time....🎄😊🎄

    Afties all.
So pleased to hear that Ruby and Rebecca have been defrosted and the boilers are all up and running properly again.
F'edge - I think it was a sensible decision to cancel the walk tomorrow. Building in a wind chill factor to the rain would have made it most unpleasant. Bit of a disappointment about the tree branches though. Fingers crossed that all the parcels arrive soon.
Oh no Joyce - not the white stuff! At least it was only the little flakes.

LB, it was Lants who had the snow flakes today but we might have some over the weekend.

Sounds delish F'edge. I think it is definitely a snuggly duvet night tonight.
