    Joyce - rounds of Canasta today. I was the scorer for the school team M-U. Never played cricket apart from on the beach with my brothers when on holiday. I was rubbish at it.

    Oh my life! I have just seen two Mr Ps in the garden! I think word must be getting around. No sign of the three Mrs Ps though.

    Scottish names often have 'ie' on the end and I have often wondered what it stood for - perhaps diminutive?  Petrie, Guthrie, Christie, MacKenzie,
    Brodie, Snoddie etc.

    I don’t beleive it . Our heating is going on and off . I think that it could be the thermostat .  Engineer called but could be after lunch when he comes  . We do have an electric heater.I think the three of us will be warming ourselves round that until it is sorted .🤬
