Was still typing when you posted, @punkdoc - that is so sweet of your Mum - what a star!

    How lovely doc  :)
Oops AuntyR! Has the spring gone in the gubbins inside the handle?
We have a door at work [into the boss's office] which was like that for months, until eventually the door wouldn't open at all. Instead of not closing it completely, or simply getting someone to take the r*ddy lock out [and replacing it] she kept shutting the door and then getting stuck in there.
I said I'd take it out, which I did a few weeks ago, and if she got a roller catch I'd put it in. That's never happened, of course.
Perhaps I shouldn't have offered to fix it when I think about it..... ;)
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

OH’s ninja skills managed to bet the door open at least. I wonder how much a call-out would cost for that sort of thing??£££ There will be a DIY shop trip in the morning though 🙄

Hope you all having a pleasant evening.

  • Hello all!  Happy December   :)

Congrats @GWRS - nothing better than watching your team win.

    LilyP, hope you've warmed up!

What a lovely Mum you have, Punkdoc...

Best wishes to leak fixers everywhere.  I hardly dare say this, but our roof appears to be watertight at last.   :D

  • Forgot to say - just back from a birthday party for our 1-year-old grandson.  A lovely day!   :)

OH is back from Edinburgh. Went to fetch him from Limoges station, took 1h45 to get there, filthy night, black and tipping with rain, horrible glare from approaching cars. Had neck and shoulder ache by the time we got home (could have been the manure spreading though). Taken Ibuprofen with hot chocolate.

Glad you had a lovely day, Liri.

I like your decoration Aunty Rach. I made a wreath at Tuesday's craft session but I don't have a photo.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

    What a lovely Mum, Punkdoc.
    Beaut wreath Aunty Rach.
    Have a good sleep all.

the washing machine has just finished it’s cycle and I was whingeing to Hubby about the strong winds, when he announced that it’s starting to rain.🤬 Hopefully, it’s just passing by.
Such a nuisance as I was planning on doing some jobs in the garden this morning.
