    Yes, I have.  He is much calmer.  Let's hope it lasts.
    I also phoned his sister, who lives in Sussex.  She said she'll come early tomorrow to, hopefully, stay with him for as long as she can.

    Squirrel rescued after getting stuck in bird feeder

    This greedy squirrel got itself into a spot of bother when it got stuck in a bird feeder.😂

    As I rather dislike every one of these rats that invade my garden and attack my fruit trees, I couldn't help laughing out loud at this picture; but, I then felt sorry for the destructive rat.  Odd... :/

    Hi Sam, how's your "patient" today?  Any news?  And how are you?

    Hi Phaidra, his sister phoned me half an hour ago to say she's now with him and he seems less anxious and far less agitated.
    I'm so pleased!
    I tried phoning him a bit before that but he wasn't picking up; probably still asleep or didn't feel like talking.  As a result, I became rather stressed but, after speaking with his sister, I feel much better.  Their mother is coming along nicely too.  Great!

    My grandson's playground joke:"Yesterday, my dad wrote off his car when he slid on a large patch of humous.  He didn’t see the warning sign that there was an enormous dip on the road!"

    I fear it might put his father off humous!

    Have I Got News For You

    @haveigotnews

    After Boris Johnson admits he ‘crashed the car’ in his handling of the Owen Paterson scandal, aides quietly take it to the scrap yard to add to the others:

    And speaking of Boris, I hear his lot have approved his latest endeavour to... level UP the entire country:

    Boris and "Social Care": a bit of an oxymoron, I think.
    Someone should, perhaps, present him with a flag for his present abode with SEMPER SCURRA emblazoned on it.  I think he likes Latin...
    There are several alternatives, of course!

    How was your mini break, Helen?  Any photos?  I, most certainly, could do with some cheering up.
