    If only people could/would read!
Despite this large sign by the pond at one of our local parks, several people continued to feed the ducks bread; and they ate it pretty voraciously, unfortunately.

Most people can't afford to eat grapes for breakfast, never mind feeding them to ducks.

Your wish is my command, Helen.  You shall have seedless grapes from Kavala- no less- as well as plenty of Greek yogurt and Orange Blossom honey, every single day! :D

Yesterday, I went out for afternoon tea with a former neighbour and friend of mine.  She told me they jut had some new neighbours move in, whom her husband, apparently, liked very much.  Sometime last week, he sad to her, "I have often seen that when John (the husband) comes home from work, Jane (his wife) meets him at the door and kisses him passionately.  Why can't you do the same? "  My friend replied, "Because I hardly know the man."

I love a friend who makes me laugh!
