I do admit that I have tried very hard not to think about the situation in Gaza, after the recent Hamas attrocity, telling myself, there's nothing I can do. And I do know that there's NOTHING I can do to end such a horrific state of affairs. And I always think, why is it so hard to stop hating each other? I do know it's not always easy to love each other but, surely, if we want to survive we must learn not to hate?
I have heard people openly stating that the actions of the Israelis, as a result of the recent horror, are not just revenge but to remove all the Palestinians from their own homeland and to then plant Orthodox Jews in Gaza, who believe that that land was given them by God; his own chosen people. God help us!
All my grandchildren are determind to provide some giggle therapy to their ever-busy grandparents. This is from one of my grandsons:
"My Head of Year told us that he has been asked to give a speech on the benefits of eating dried grapes... Apparently, it's all about raisin awareness."
A neighbour of mine ordered some goods from an online company a few days ago. Today, he received this photo with a message informing him that the delivery was made. He has no idea whose and where that property is!!!
