Morning all/afties Pat. Glad you like  the feeding stations. The goldies are very messy, so the trays help contain it...a bit  :D The other birds treat them as bird tables, so everyone's a winner.
Glad you got home safely BL. They were talking about those demonstrations on the news yesterday. People power seems the only way to get anything done nowadays, and I'm not even sure that works either. The times are not a-changing methinks. I'll stick with the garden and wildlife I think...
Cloudy and dampish here, but not too cold, as there's no wind. Down to 4 overnight, but 7 just now. Too warm for the penguins  ;)
Better go and organise myself. Have a good day everyone, whatever the weather, and whatever you get up to.

    Morning everyone, afternoon Pat,
Another long period of absence, skim read sixty odd pages to catch up but much has passed me by I'm sure!
I hope everyone has been keeping well. Lovely to see DD popping in and great to hear how well things are going with the tea shop and everything else!
Lirio, glad Dove passed on my sympathies, it sounds like a very heart warming send off you all gave your mother, big hugs and enjoy your lovely trip away xx
Lilyp, really pleased to hear that your eyes are improving now 😊
Hosta, hope your both enjoying your sunshine, have a great holiday!x
    Lovely feeder photos Fairy!
Joyce, I've unearthed some snowdrops too!
I've been working too much, have been run down for ages and now have a dodgy tummy so have been advised to stay at home and not share my condition in a small office!
Which is the only reason I have time to get on here and have a catch up!

I've been too busy to even pop on and read so please excuse my rubbish recall!
Greetings to BusyL, Obelixx, Pdoc, Flumpy, obviously Dove! Chicky, LG, and everyone! Have a good day all

Morning all. Not looking forward to feeling colder this week, especially as OH has gone to Mumbai - far from cold!

Hope there are no more run ins with the gilets jaunes, BL and Obxx.

Chicky, is littlest chicklet hoping to head to Australia or elsewhere? A few more trips on the cards for you then!

Busy weekend - college on Friday, out as usual Friday evening. Spent the whole of Saturday at a junior conservatoire open day (which was amazing) with Bow. Then both kids were in a choir concert in the evening. Did my dinosaur planting volunteering yesterday - lots of ferns, conifers and sarcococca. Then OH was off to the airport. Planting a rose with my brother this afternoon and then woodwind concert tonight.

Right, need to get outside and clear some leaves / move pots while it's dry. Catch you later.

Morning everyone, very very chilly here

Fairy your photos are lovely and the feeders super, we find the goldies sooooo messy I have decided to fill all the crevices of an old log with feed and put it in the herb garden where we will see them from the kitchen 🤞the hills looked stunning yesterday but the roads were strewn with cars!

wonky lovely to see you. Hope you and oh well

chicky hope the week pans out ok, at least when busy it goes fast

Pat we used to love this time difference as it gave us time to sit and chat and not  be rushing with kids somewhere

p doc I hope you have had this amazing spell of weather  I think it’s about to change  tho!

its too cold to go out yet so plan this morning is to move everything needing sheltered

    have a good day

Thank you Lilyp and LG 😊 it was a bit of a challenge reading the sixty odd pages to catch up on but nice to finally have the time to do so! 😉
Thanks Dove, I'll be out of quarantine by the time you visit with your laptop at the weekend 😀 x

Hi Wonky - sometimes you have to listen to your body and rest.   Get well soon.

Greetings all.  Lovely sunny day here but I'll be stuck indoors at patch this pm and then mosaic before coming home.  Expecting tales of gilets jaunes from the ladies in Olonne as they were active there too this weekend.   Hope the b*ggers have gone home or to work today.

Love your bird photos FG and that feeder too.   Hope you're warm enough tonight Pat and that you get some rain too.

Chicklets with wander lust?  Good but a worry too isn't it?   You sound busy and happy LG.

Have a good day everyone whatever you're doing.

Evening (is it evening before 5? Well it’s going dark so let’s go with that!).
Had a baking/cooking afternoon after some garden jobs earlier. Watched a great spotted woodpecker bashing one of apple trees - he was massive and had beautiful colouring.
The fieldfares should be arriving soon.

Hooe you all doing ok. Will pop in later to see what you’ve all been up too.

Evening all, hello AuntyRach, sounds like a good kind of day 😊 spicy sausage, tomato and bean stew with buttery mash here, slow cooker has been going all day, warming type of food needed now!
Relaxing evening before going back to work tomorrow. Had a lovely chat with Dove where I have learned that I'm the lucky recipient of the next knitting project! 😀 had my brother come over and left with his laundered clothes which is a sisters duty when he lives on a house boat apparently, and also a large slab of homemade lasagne that needed rehoming. Tucking up on the sofa with hubby and cats and stew, have s lovely evening all 😊
