Chinese spammers aren't giving up easily this morning.

At least there's not 100s of spammers like before!  :D
Have you got lobster legs yet Hosta?   ;)
Not quite as warm as where you are Hosta, but the sun's coming up over the house roofs now, and it's very pretty, and  very welcome after all the recent wet and wind. I may get something done outside later.
    Wonder if washing would dry?
If anyone can flag another time on the garden shed thread, that will get rid of the spammer there.

Good morning.   Grey today so I stayed in bed and read while snuggling two purry pussies.   They were tired after a busy night chasing some unfortunate rodent around our bedroom.  Managed to pull my radio alarm off the bedside table too.

Dancing this evening so I'm resting my arthritic toes today and sewing.   Might make some sweet chilli sauce later.   Yesterday's beetroot, orange and chili relish tastes wonderful already so imagine it will be fab when matured.

LP - careful.  When OH retired at the end of 2015 I let him sleep in and then veg on the sofa and take the dogs for long, long walks for a month.  Then we started on house and garden jobs that needed two sets of muscles and more than just one day a weekend and ended up deciding it was fine at 60+ but not at 80+ and here we are, moved to warmer climes and a simpler house tho bigger garden........

Pat - I reckon smirr is drizzle or, as I call it, drismal cos it's all grey and blurry too.

Hosta - I was beginning to think you'd got lost.  I hope you're warm enough now and all set for weeks and weeks of slobbing about.   How's your gardening friend?

OK - fresh coffee brewed so I'm of fupstairs.  Have a great morning everyone, what's left of it.

We are engrossed with watching Queen. Gotta love them. They are just at the bit where they are dressing up in drag and playing “Want to break 😁 free”. 😂😂😂😂

Obelixx - smirr is usually lighter than drizzle - more like mizzle   ;)
Pat - that's still the best video ever isn't it?  :)
I treated myself to a new slimline CD/radio which arrived yesterday. Lovely jubbly. Just need a new one for taking outside as the CD bit has gone to the great scrapheap in the sky, and I don't always want the radio on. This one's so neat I could take it out, but I want to keep it good.

I'm off to do something more productive. Enjoy your day folks, whatever you get up to  :)

Sorry folks. As soon as I got online, the battery gave up. Typical.
It's been a bit cloudy here for the first couple of days, but yesterday was lovely.
Here's our view for the next 3 weeks.
there are a pair of Bearded Barbets in the tree behind us. Photo taken through the fly screen , so apologies for the poor quality.

My gardener friend was delighted with his seeds. I thought I had some tomato seeds, but I was wrong so I'll have to bring him another batch in January.

Feeling a bit tearful now.  Wonderful entertainment though.

Cleared leaves off a border and discovered clumps of snowdrops showing through. It's only mid November!

Good to know they've survived the hot dry weather Joyce.   I hope ours have too.
