I’m glad you’re getting so much fun from your wildlife camera Fairy (so are we). Your robins are very different from ours.
Aunty Rach, have you tried the “Jigsawplanet” site. I put quite a lot of puzzles on there. Good fun. More entertaining than Solitaire on my iPad.
Hello everyone this very windy morning here. It feels like hurricane force out there. I wonder how our Melbourne visitors are coping on the drive up here. They should be about an hour away by now.
There are are reports of fires springing up around the country and one just south of Canberra. They showed a photo of the smoke which was taken from one of the Canberra hills. 😡. I don’t want to know about them just now.
Welcome back LG, glad you had a good holibobs. Great photo of Greece 🇬🇷. I am also interested in the official RHS view of no-dig. Charles Dowding’s experiments certainly look impressive - I am trying to persuade Mr C that he never needs to dig again.
Chicklet is home for the weekend, and littlest Chicklet arrives tomorrow- yay! and double yay!! I sneaked in another birthday whilst we were cycling, so this is our celebratory weekend 🍰🎈🎁🎉
Morning all. A glorious sunny day here. Perfect for lifting cannas and dahlias?? Have a lovely weekend @chicky. I so rarely have both my girls together.
Thanks to all you lovely people for your kind words of support, as I went to Northumberland to share Mum's last days. She died peacefully on Tuesday morning this week. My sister and I had spent hours at her bedside in the hospital (I had time to knit a scarf and half a hat while we were there!), and the night before she died I stayed on a reclining chair next to her bed. When she passed away early in the morning, I was stroking her hair and telling her what a wonderful mum she'd been... it was such a privilege.
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.
