Especially if they might want to pave over it for off street parking.  Just keep it tidy and distract the eye with some pots you can take with you.

    Evening all.
Just home after an 11 hour shift.
The rain held off until around 5 ish, so not as bad as it could have been.

There were still a lot of empty shops, last time we were up @Fairygirl.
As you say the castle escaped, by a whisker.
I feel very fortunate to have free bed and board up there, even though i can no longer climb the hills. Love to sit and watch the Red Squirrels in MIL's garden.
Make sure to take plenty of squirrel pix if you can, doc.
I actually thought the flooding was only two years ago, then I remembered it was the year I got back out walking.  :o
I had a good day too steephill. The weather was very kind. Shame about your spuds though.
    Obelixx - it's this camera

Thanks FG.  I've stored the info for when we start seeing wildlife about.   Hoping we'll become a haven.

Evening all - hope everyone cosy after work/outings/hobbies/relaxing etc.
Managed a walk up to the top of our hill this evening and saw plenty of fireworks - bobble hat had first outing of the season! Might go again tomorrow evening if it’s not raining.

Obs- I'm sure there are much better cameras around, but it's like everything - you could go on forever with a higher spec and a higher price! It seemed to be a good all round camera for the money. It's a wee bit faffy putting the memory card in the slot, and the the little button for testing and switching on/off is footery,  but once you have the hang of it, it's ok.  :)
Glad you didn't get too much of a soaking Hosta  :)

Good morning.   Up early today for CH service but they're late.  Typical.

Funny yellow/orange light at dawn so I checked the forecast which has a radar map showing all of today's rain heading up the Atlantic from Bilbao to Brest and not a drop on land.  Today's rain has now been postponed to Saturday.  Typical.  I hope, when it does come, it's like a bus.  None for ages then 3 solid downpours in succession.

I know Fairy, but it's good to have a starting point for something that's perfectly good and know you don't have to spend a fortune to get good images.

Chicky - gorgeous lantern.  Glad it was a good weekend.

    Safe journey Dove.
