Good to see you back LilyP 😀. Trip sounded eventful - did you enjoy it?

Off to Southampton this evening for their service of Remembrance at the Mayflower theatre - we got my Dad tickets for Father’s Day (seems like a long time ago now - no instant gratification in that gift).

Rained torrentially last night, but has now cleared into a bright autumn day 🍂🍁☀️

View from my kitchen window - rudbeckias still going strong - bring a smile to my face every time I look out 😀

As he texted "thank god you're retired and can be my PA' .... I must point out at some time that it's only a temporary position ... I aim to resume my slothful retirement asap.  ;)

Hi Chicky, yes we did it was extremely interesting to see so many places I had heard of
As a child I just thought of the them were just part of Christmas carols!
your garden is looking super! Hope all chicklets well

we have just watched the tv. As we get older it seems even more important to us to say thank you to all  those who went before. Nowadays it seems our forces and supporters are as engaged in conflict still.   I find that dreadfully sad and disappointing

We have one Forker, whom most of us know, who has given so much of his time and skills, often to endanger himself.  To him and his supportive wife I am sure you will all join me in saying.
“Respect” and thank you   We all wish you well and hope you will keep posting for ever!

To any others who have not shared “Respect to you too”
