  • Hope it's improving now @chicky.

Having tripped over a loose carpet at work (thereby hangs a tale) my boss dashed to the coffee making area and found her boss's pack of frozen lasagne in the freezing compartment of the fridge and came back and strapped it to my knee for half an hour.  She then put it back in the freezer ... pretty sure she didn't tell her boss ;)

    Evening all.
I went to bed to try to catch some sleep, to no avail.
    Warmest wishes for tomorrow @Liriodendron.
@punkdoc, you "posh nosh" would be wasted on me I'm afraid. i don't like caviar and I'd not eat the foie gras.
I called the guy about the Billy Goat this morning ,  he wants it but couldn't come over today to collect it. It's sat in the garage since we moved here 7 years ago , and I don't think I'd used it for 2 or 3 years before that. I put fresh petrol in it , checked the oil ,and pulled the cord: it started first pull. Gotta love Honda engines.
All packed , including some veg seed for the gardener ( I thought I had more spare  :( )
We're aiming to leave here around 10.30 tonight. It's forecast to be raining , argh.

    Evening.
Oh @punkdoc - that’s just what I was going to do for tea tonight 😅
    sounds too-notch!
@Liriodendron - I hope tomorrow is ok and the presence of your Mum’s family and friends brings some comfort and happy memories. I love baking some of my Mum’s, and GrandMum’s, recipes. I have probably said before that I have a big file of recipes that my GrandMum typed (yes - typewriter!) of all her favourites that she made for family and her charity events (Inner Wheel/Rotary).
    I hope everyone’s ok. Safe journey @Hostafan1.
