Raisinggirl, I don’t think it would happen for us, we are not that lucky lol, if I bought a lovely house it definitely would not be in the town, I love the countryside and coast, so it would be somewhere in between, we love Devon and Cornwall, we shall keep wishing though 🙂

@Fairygirl ,I've just watched another "Impossible Builds" overlooking the loch. Loved it too.
Can I be really picky and say it should have been a few degrees further round to really get the loch view?
Right, enough of this . I've got pots of bulbs to plant so I'm going to make another cuppa then head for the tunnel.

OK, so you may have to pay a tad more for the plot https://www.plotfinder.net/plot/1vymv5/land-for-sale-in-tregony-cornwall

insist on building everything out of hand knapped flint or the hides of unicorns
Hides of unicorns, r'girl - I knew I'd forgotten to order something for the hoghouse.... :D
They're now very scarce because of those people - and they're our national emblem up here. How very dare they...
I think whoever came up with that one had been down the pub a bit too long.... ;)
Any kind of building work is stressful. I've been pretty lucky with all the projects I've been involved with. I sometimes look to see if there are little plots up north that would suit me, even though it's a few years yet till I retire. I looked yesterday - there's one in Ardmair, just outside Ullapool, where we used to holiday. Wasn't dear.  Big sigh.....
Been out in the lovely sun- beautiful day for pottering and ferdiddling around. Lots of little jobs done, and one that I need the help of a fairylet to finish.
Hosta - I'll take a look at the bit you're talking about, but I think I know what you mean. They had done it very nicely though. Some nice little touches, but nothing to detract from the view - when they have it of course  ;)
Quick lunch and back out. Enjoy your day everyone - whatever you get up to
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

We're lucky enough to have the perfect plot, but no so lucky when it comes to the money to build a new house, nor have a council who'd let us.

@Hostafan1 ... think Banksy has said it all really tu

A busy morning ... shopping done and put away, a load of laundry done, another load folded and put away, sitting room tidied, paperwork done, soup made, beef casserole made for supper, kitchen tidied and lunch eaten ... now I have the afternoon to make the second half of the neck band for the jacket I'm knitting so I can finish and sew it up ... the new wool for OH's next jumper has arrived  :)

Afternoon all. I have also been doing a few odd jobs. Just going to look out a recipe for apple turnovers. One of the admin staff at work was raving about the apple turnovers I made last year (or even the year before?) so I thought I would surprise her with a few this Monday lunchtime. Obv I will do some practice ones today 😉
No neice visit today as there is a snotty cold going round so my Sis thought I may like to avoid that! 🤧😷
Have a pleasant weekend - rain, shine, busy or relaxing.

My garden and I live in South Wales.
