Yes Chicky, my thoughts as well. We haven’t had good years for ages. I’m hoping the drought breaks this spring/summer and the various plants can get moving again. The other issue is that we have lots of large birds who like fruit. 😣

    Morning all.

Good morning.  Late start again but I think I've caught up on my lack of sleep now.   Hope so as Rasta has an early haircut appointment tomorrow.   First patchwork session this pm so lots of catching up in store.

Coffee first tho and then tomato drying.  Lots of Yellow Pear still coming and they're delicious fresh or dried.

Not got your own rotavator Hosta?   Lovely rudbeckias Chicky.   Happy eyes LP.   I hope you get some rain soon Pat.  Those apples look lovely.

Indeed so @Dovefromabove, especially if you hit something hard ( a stump eg ) and it leaps forward over the top of it, you certainly know how powerful it is.
£80 for a 24 hour hire. If I finish it today I'll pay for a 5 hour hire, about £60.

    Where's @WonkyWomble these days? I miss her.

  • Thank you @Hostafan1   :)   I'll tell her ... she'll appreciate that  :)  She's been working very hard ... it's been a busy time for agricultural businesses plus apparently bosses need to take holidays?  They've also had  a succession of weekend visitors, attracted there by the prospect of relaxing in her lovely garden, being fed the wonderful food she provides and listening to her Lovely Hub's DJ mixes (think that's the correct term).  Also I've been trying to stress the importance of giving herself a break from time to time ;)  She does pop in and have a look every now and then  :)
