Great to hear you’re back in the studio again Dove 👩🏼‍🎨🎨

Watched Michael Palin in North Korea last night - really worth a watch on Channel 5.

Foul weather here last night, but seems to have quietened now.  Out for a meal at the local Indian tonight with the chicklets, before the grand tour of the country this weekend 🚗🚙🚚🚛🚗.  Hope everyone else has a good one.
  • Good morning all  :)
Have a great evening Chicky  :). Today I will be finishing the chutney and making kedgeree for supper.
We have a yellow weather warning ... the wind’s very blustery ... I had to get up in the night to shut the west facing window, and although it’s dry the sky in the West looks very ominous. Don’t think it’s a gardening day ...

  • Morning all, afternoon Pat, morning Dove, still very windy here, the cat decided to stay up all night and shout at the wind, so could do with more sleep than I actually got! Hope your lane turns back from a river to a road Pdoc! Stay safe all, have a good Friday😊
  • Have a lovely day Wonky  B)

  • Our first SW storm last night not a very big one with some rain and wind at 50 mph need to take a trip to the allotment and see how Polly did in her first storm still there I hope  :/
All this talk of food and chutney has got me thinking I must give it a go never made any before.
Have a good day every one.

    Morning all.
Bright , but V breezy here but nothing out of the ordinary for " these parts" .
The bird bath has filled up , so we've had some rain. I'll check out the lake later.
We've still got cracks in the ground so I can't see the land drains running any time soon.

Good morning.  We've had 10mm of rain in the night.  Nice surprise!  Dull, grey and almost still now.

Waiting for a big bang from the local quarry (doggy cuddles) then off shopping - SM, patchwork and mosaic stuff and maybe a nip to the local plant place.   Later we'll start moving treasures in pots out into the open so they can get any rain and sun that's going without being fried now that we're down to the low 20s.

Good that you've picked up your arty mojo again Dove.   Enjoy your "last supper" Chicky.  Good to see you popping in more Wonky.

Have a great day everyone and stay safe if you're in the windy and wet bits.

I wonder whether the windy night was what instigated my dreams about the goats I used to keep ... @WonkyWomble ... remember Gossamer and Pansy?  <3  They were the first ones we had at The Mill ... it was a windy spot wasn't it?  I s'pose that's why there was a windmill there :flushed:

I drove past our local Wyevale yesterday and see it's now changed hands, with a big SALE sign outside, so I might pop over and have a rummage. Too windy to be in the tunnel today, it's deafening in there when it's this windy.
