Grey and overcast here, probably about 16C and I want to get out and prune the hypericum but I moved the bird feeders yesterday and there are a lot of confused, suspicious birds in the 'shrubbery' now!

High twenties again today but much cooler now at night. Rain promised for tomorrow night. Still watering pots, no gardening as such as ground is much too dry.

Lovely and sunny now and very warm, maybe 18C, great to be out! Birds not confused anymore and feeding like mad  :)

  • A beautiful calm, sunny, cloudless day again, until 30 minutes ago when the mist arrived.  No fog horns yet but not far off blowing I feel.  Rain forecast for tomorrow - we badly need some but it is a pity if it comes at the w/end when working people want to get out and enjoy themselves.
  • After the fog this morning it soon burnt off and we had sunny 20.5°C with a SSW 5kn light breeze

Still 19 degrees when driving home tonight. Rain tomorrow so that will help pre bulb planting hopefully on Sunday.
