Sun can be seen at times, winds not so strong as yesterday but bitterly cold.

Very chilly, minus 2 at 8am, now minus 0.1 at 10.45am. Sunny, heron was on the roof of the house over the road, silhouetted against the sun. Unfortunately he'd gone by the time I'd got the camera !
  • Another sharp frost this morning but dull & cloudy so feels colder than yesterday which was very sunny.
    AB Still learning

  • Gloomy here in London today, 5 deg C according to the thermometer.
  • Dry, bright and sunny all day here, clouding up now. Cool wind has kept the temperature down to around 6 degrees.

Bitterly cold all day here, so definitely no gardening but a much needed back massage felt wonderful.

A nice day but an ice day. Last night's frost didn't thaw out but it was still a good day to get the greenhouse open and aired out.
If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.

    Raining.
Having a look at what is forecast for Christmas Day and Boxing Day - looking dry at least.
