Great few days on Nanny duty and back to - sunshine, hooray! But chilly, just the way it should be @Guernsey Donkey2 , all good veg gardeners are enjoying their harvest by 7pm eh @cornelly .
Maybe now we've passed the equinox and had the harvest moon it will settle into a 'proper' autumn
Hope the rain didn't spoil your enjoyment of the air show @GWRS, I'd best go and move the lettuces into the greenhouse I think as the nights are getting too cold.

This is the type of weather we would have preferred during the heatwave of June/July. Today there is a perfect blue sky, barely a breath of wind and a lovely temperature in the low 20's. The sea temp is still 18 degrees. However the mornings take a while to warm up and the evenings are cooling down by 6.30. We can't have it our way all the time, but ......
A beautiful autumnal start here to, fog which the sun is working hard to remove 4.8°C with a very light NW breeze 2kn . Since 3.am there has been the mournful sound of the ships fog horns out at sea.
