Hammered it down overnight, now just black clouds, no sign of the sun, and windy. Thought the wind was bad yesterday but we've got a yellow alert today - Oh No! At least yesterday's wind showed me which bits I had forgotten to tie down, time for a cuppa I reckon.

  • Yet another day with rain clouds but nothing happening.  It is windy, dull and warm - a rain dance is threatening in this household.

Remember that time when we were all praying for rain a few months back? I think the backlog arrived today :#

  • Wet and windy during the night first small SW storm of the year average wind speed was 23kn with gusts of 47kn that's approx 26mph and 55mph.
But now its a bright and sunny morning quite chilly at 10.8C with a nice breeze of 11kn looks set to be a fine day.

  • Quite blustery overnight ... the wind woke me around 1:30 and I had to get up and shut the windows. First thing this morning the sky in the West had ominous black clouds but now we have blue sky and sunshine and only a few clouds. Still mild and windy tho’
