    The rain came - good steady stuff late in the afternoon.  I can hear it filling up our water butts.  That'll do us for a few days thank you.

    Absolutely gorgeous sunset last night, walked to local shops, (felt in need of a syrup sponge pudding!) about 7.15, see the weather folk are still raving about it today, wasnt just me then! Today, although only 12d, there is not a cloud in the sky its gorgeous, getting my washing out. Its all behind, because Hubby and no one son dug foundations for new shed last Sunday, so I couldnt put the washing out, it would have been in their way.They were praying for rain to soften the clay before the dug.

    Cooler and grey this morning and will only get to 22C this pm.   31C for the last week or so.  Staying dry.  Nothing new there then.

    A lovely early Autumn day here - sunny, still and not too chilly. Forecast is a bit more gloomy for the next few days, so I must try to make the most of today. 
    My garden and I live in South Wales.
