Watery sun first thing, but then clouded over and got darker and darker. Had the lights on at 3pm. Stayed dry though. Glos.

The day are getting longer in the evening
  • Another dark, damp and dull day here, no wind, no sun, no rain, just dull and damp! Let's hope we see some sun tomorrow to liven things up here.

Same here (Glos), Guernsey Donkey,  very grey, still and quiet. Looking at the forecast for the rest of the week it is due to get sunnier, particularly on Wednesday,  but chillier.
  • Yep grey and mild 9° with a light W 4mph breeze.
Feeling better today so did get a four hours at the allotment.

Mild today and fairly mild tomorrow, so a window to get outside, but rest of the week is going to be freezing. As long as there is no ice, I actually love a cold snap as it is invigorating and then you experience that coming into a warm house bliss moment.

    The Stars were shining brightly
On a night that had banished all sin
The Bells were ringing the old year out
    And the new year in.

Not that I saw them I went to bed at eleven my party days finish early these days.
Pleasant morning here in the N.E. Calm start to the New Year, the fire works must be on the way.
