Lots of wind and rain overnight and early this morning but a lovely sunny day out there now. Still very breezy so I might risk the washing. Birds are everywhere, clearly happy to be able to get out and about - very quiet yesterday, reckon they were hiding in the hedges.

I got a line of washing dry this morning, and got it in just as it started to pelt down ... now it's stopped and there's enough blue sky to make a sailor a pair of trousers so I've hung out some dusters/polish cloths/torn up well-worn nightshirts :wink ... it won't be a disaster if that lot gets rained on, but there's also one of OH's jumpers out there ...

Really happy for you Dove mine got drenched! It's back out now for a second attempt and I'm watching the rain radar rather than the forecast ready to run if necessary.
