Something like 70% of incidents that NHS A&E have to deal with are drugs or alcohol related.

I am a sober, patient(ish) law abiding citizen but so help me if I have to fill in one more pile (4 sheets A4 both sides) stating what country I've travelled from and whom I've brought with me (80 miles from Belfast, alone) I shall grab hold of that little curly perm and trail it out over the counter and give it a good pasting round the waiting room.
Most of the ladies in my local (temporary) health centre are lovely but that one kerniptious little jobsworth deserves a good slap. I had to quote the road traffic act at her to shut her up. What? So now you're a Traffic Officer too?!??! Crooked old bint!

...and before anybody starts...yes I do appreciate the NHS and their struggles but I had a temperature of 40°C (104° in old money) and had been through the same old nonsense the week before!!!

Thank goodness for the mildly amusing slightly off the wall 'whateveritwas' that followed it ...
