    I’ve made mince pies today as well! We will have some at supper time about 10.30, shame, no cream.

    @Lyn, that's their job: nothing more and nothing less.
     If they can't manage that, then they shouldn't stand for election, or resign immediately and let someone more able take on the task.

    @wild edges the joke'so on me and I think we probably  picked up a super duper  red route  parking  ticket  when I was dropped  off to add to the  pot

    I'm just so grateful that we have a very good NHS dental practice near us.  It cost me about £50 for check up, x-rays, scale and polish, one filling.  They are so much better than the private practice I used in the past before I was butchered and charged heavily for the experience too!
