Not just yet.  We're going down to a cool 9 tonight and a mere 21 tomorrow but back up to 36C by Tuesday.   Lots of warm stuff left yet.

I think you're in the wrong summer for that B3.   This one is extreme in many ways.

It's always the wrong summer for something. I like rain, even in the winter - at least the weather's doing something! Continuous hot sun is boring.

I think any weather that goes on for more than a fortnight gets boring - that's probably terribly British of me. OH disagrees - he'd be happy with a couple of months of hot sunny weather every summer. But even he gets fed up with it eventually - he lived in Australia for a while so he had the chance to find that out

We used to spend 3 months in Goa every winter. It was 33C every day and min of 23C at night almost all the time and with 12 hours of sunshine every day, and no rain. I was never bored with it.

I love the odd soft morning the feel of mizzle on my face .
I smelt autumn in the air yesterday morning. The fig tree has a  slight yellow tinge. It'll be the hostas next.

There's still hope. Mine didn't flower til September last year and then they went berserk and flowered to late November.

The swallows and house martins were queuing up on the wires to leave yesterday. I haven't seen more than a couple all year and suddenly there were loads of them around.
If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.
