She is my hero, back in the ‘60’s I would walk around London with my guitar across my back, having straighten my long black hair on the ironing board.

Just been chucked out of the site again trying to look at someone’s Canna photo!

You mean - ye 'canna' see it Lyn?  :D
Did you see the interview she did with Paxman? I can't bear him, but I meant to watch it. I think she's an astonishingly stunning woman, and very composed and self assured.
Of course- she had good material with that song too  ;)

Paxman has improved a lot since he stopped being a "serious" interviewer and journalist and rather full of himself.  He has a very dry sense of humour now and a better sense of proportion.  Bit late.

I gave up looking at photo threads a long time ago.  Will try again if or when we get fibre optics for the internet.  Being in a rural hamlet we will be low priority.

I can’t watch Paxman, but I have a few concerts on demand and a documentary.
She’s a remarkable women, she’s done so much for humanity, she goes into war torn countries and just starts singing, great friends with Dr King.
I just love her. Always have, always will.

Can I be super curmudgeonly because it's flippin' freezin'?
Maybe everyone who drove the heat away with their moaning can chip in for our heating bills this winter? At least the heat in Summer is free.

What are you talking about @Hostafan1?  According to my phone it’s 3 degrees warmer at your place than it is here and we’ve got the bedroom window wide open and the pigeons on the roof still think it’s spring 😉☀️

I was huddled up last night thinking we need a new duvet.
BBC says it's "12C" here now. i.e. COLD. grrrr

I had the bedroom windows open for about an hour one night a few weeks back, when I got in from work at 10 and hubby was "up country".
It's too cold to have them open now, even during the day.

Nine degrees here HF. Straighten your face!  :D
I have a whole funky arrangement of bedding going on with a fleece blanket for mostly but the duvet on standby for sometimes. It gets flung willy nilly depending on foot temperature.  :D
